The Family

Named for a grandmother.

Marinitas is a fourth-generation family farm, named for the grandmother whose coffee started it all — el café de mi abuelita. Ten years ago the family set out to turn the farm into a specialty producer. In 2025, their Pacamara won the Anacafé regional cup.

The family also roasts for dozens of neighboring farms — a fixture of coffee life in Nuevo Oriente, a region most U.S. roasters have never bought from.

We talk with the family every week. When you buy a Marinitas lot, the photos, the cupping data, and the story come with it — real, verifiable, and yours to share with your customers.

The Coffees

Three lots, one farm.

Washed Catuaí for espresso programs and blends, the 2025 Anacafé Regional-winning Pacamara, and a six-bag Gesha reserve. The family also runs small experiments — honey process among them — that we can source on request.
